I like Serial(s)

March 3, 2008
  • They engage me.
  • House, Scrubs, Heroes, Seinfeld, these are all shows I have been deeply engaged in at one time or another. They make you (or me) feel like I (or you) has friends. That’s why people watch shows with laugh tracks.
  • My spell checker says I spelt ’sniffles’ wrong. Apparently it shouldn’t have a s-e-i-n-f-e-l-d.
  • This is why spell check hasn’t yet replaced common sense.

  • Whenever I see the word TV I automatically think the V is a set of antennae.
  • Why are there child actors but no child directors? Doesn’t that say something about the amount of talent acting requires relative to directing?
  • Why is it that every TV show title is a bad pun? Is that some kind of law?

May you live in interesting timesMay you come to the attention of those in authorityMay you find what you are looking forI’m still not sure what this blog is supposed to be. People like my comics better, but I like writing more. I’m not quite certain that I’ll keep doing the comics. Maybe I should do them on Fridays, maybe on Saturdays. The Chinese curse above strikes me as not a curse at all but a blessing. May you be not bored, famous, and lucky in pursuit. In the same way, it is a curse, and a bad one at that. May you be in constant turmoil, have no secrets, and have no further goals.http://www2.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifMany proverbs are like that. Dutch children’s storied end abruptly, and there is in fact an awesome animated short named after that whole process. It’s slightly creepy, but it’s really quite incredible, considering it was made in an open source program.Quite a few youtube videos are non-commercially produced, and they really are good.Even Aliens have Weird DreamsCubic TradgedyIt’s pretty cool.
