I just saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls. Having not seen the first three, nor knowing exactly who the character is, I enjoyed it immensely. The acting, the producing, the story. It really had an ultimate feel to it, even with out having seen all the tedious rising action movies.
On the other hand, it was unliked for the whole alien concept. It was brilliant, well written, and exciting, but somehow out of place in an Indiana Jones movie. It should have been it’s own franchise.
Either way, it turned out excellently. On par with a space-opera Da Vinci Code, without all that nefarious truth to mess everything up.
