The problem is that emotions cannot be expressed directly. It always fails, except in poetry, and even then…. However, anybody who tries to dea in words with the world surrounding him will betray his emotions more or less openly.
The fish hook fishing for the hook? That’s emotions trying to get hold of themselves. (This idea is A. Machado’s)
